    SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - Our Black History Series Where it Began: Block by Block continues with a look inside a Savannah neighborhood where several civil rights leaders once lived. According to the Historic Savannah Foundation, The Cuyler-Brownville Historic District is a direct result of slaves migrating after the Civil War. It’s the people who once lived there who shaped the Savannah we know today. “Me and my husband lived here for 50 years,” said Mrs. Carrie Reynolds, Cuyler-Brownville resident.

People are keeping their fingers crossed for snow fall in Savannah. Some businesses in Savannah’s City Market have signs on their doors saying they are already closed or will be closing early because of the winter weather we’re expecting. WTOC ran into the Quinn Family while down at Savannah’s City Market.
