    DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Two drivers are being accused of traveling at nearly double the posted speed limit in Butler County. The Ohio State Highway Patrol posted to social media Thursday alleging that two vehicles were stopped by a Hamilton Post trooper. OSP claims the drivers were traveling at 127 mph in a 65 mph zone. “Since the beginning of the year, troopers have cited more than 3,600 people with going 30+ mph over the limit,” said OSP.

    DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Ohio Lottery players in two different communities won quite a bit of money. A New Carlisle woman purchased a $2,000,000 Extreme Cash scratch-off ticket from the Speedway location in the 80 block of East National Road in Vandalia. Although the ticket price was just $20, she won the top prize of $80,000 a year for 25 years. The woman decided she wanted the cash option of $1 million, so she is receiving $720,000 after taxes.

    DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Individuals that have survived cancer are invited to an event in Dayton. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on May 30, the Dayton VA Medical Center will welcome cancer survivors for a walk, symposium and vendor fair. Attendees will need to head to Building 305 once on the campus to access the event. The event is just two days before June 1, recognized as National Cancer Survivors Day.
