Mike Smith, a community volunteer, said he always volunteers to help his Germantown neighbors after intense storms, especially older homeowners unable to do the work. “There’s going to be stuff longer limbs hanging and limbs broke out, trees split,” said Smith.

VANDALIA, Ohio (WDTN) — I-75 is shut down in both directions near Vandalia as crews work to remove a power line. Several trees and powerlines have been knocked down due to the strong winds and severe weather this evening, including a “high tension 3 phase power line” across I-75 near Northwoods Boulevard. Montgomery County reports this power line has closed all lanes of I-75 north of I-70. Drivers are urged to seek alternate routes.

Foley’s trial had been set to begin Monday, June 16, but he instead changed his plea to No Contest to charges of misuse of computer property and improper solicitation of contributions.
