NBC affiliate WLWT in Cincinnati reported a sheriff’s deputy was in the area of Burnet Woods and Martin Luther King drives on Friday afternoon. According to WLWT, the deputy was assisting with traffic for graduation commencement events.

On Friday, May 2, Dayton Fire graduated the seven female fire recruits, including its first two Black female recruits. “This graduating class of new firefighters represents the most diverse fire recruit class in the history of the Dayton Fire Department, with a combined ethnic and gender diversity of 59%,” said Dayton Fire Department.
