That sandwich was one of 1,202 weight and labeling violations found during a rare statewide survey of most Roundy’s stores in Wisconsin. There were five “The Boss” sub sandwiches for sale at the market on January 17th, 2024, all with pricing errors of about 20%. Inspection records show the label read the sandwich weighed 39 ounces but was actually 30 ounces.

    MADISON, Wis. --  Madison public schools will ask for a historic amount of funding this fall, but many voters don’t yet understand what the referendums are about, or that they’re even happening.  “I don’t know anything about the Madison school referendum,” said Rachael Perlman.   Perlman was one of several Madison voters who were unaware that they will be asked on Nov. 5th whether to spend tax dollars to fund the Madison Metropolitan School District with an additional $607 million.
