Peoria, Ill. (WMBD) — A slow moving cold front has brought another good soaking rain to Central Illinois. After a dry May, the month of June is off to a welcomed wet start. Most of the areas received somewhere between one and three inches of rain with some of the highest totals coming from Tazewell, Fulton, Mason, and Woodford Counties. We did receive a few reports over 4 inches in a few spots, but those reports were significantly higher than nearby observations and radar estimates.

It was feast or famine when it came to rain today. The southeast side of Bloomington received 1-3 inches of rain (officially 1.58") while most areas saw less than a few tenths of an inch. We should remain dry Wednesday. https://t.co/y6Ip6EWczL
