The child told his mother that the babysitter, Tiffany Schlueter, had struck him. According to a news release by the Department of Justice, Scott Alan Barker, 33, was sentenced to 15 years in federal prison without parole. Baker will be required to register as a sex offender upon his release from prison. According to the release, Baker pleaded guilty to producing child pornography Aug. 8, 2024.
Planned Parenthood resumes abortion services in Columbia after court ruling

Columbia — Planned Parenthood Great Plains has opened its first abortion appointments at their Midtown KC and Columbia health centers. This comes after a Jackson County judge stuck down licensing requirements for clinics on Feb. 14th. The ruling now allows abortion services to return to the state. According to a spokesperson of Comprehensive Health of Planned Parenthood Great Plains, the health center is currently scheduling procedural abortions for up to 12 weeks at both locations.
