COLUMBUS (WV News) - One last hurrah for River Cities sports. Five athletes from the Ohio River Cities schools made the trip to Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium to compete in the OHSAA State Track and Field Meet Friday and Saturday to end the 2024-25 sports year. Gallia Academy, River Valley, South Gallia, Meigs and Eastern all had representatives at the meet. Day one Two athletes were in preliminary action for day one.

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WV News) - A total of four athletes from the River Cities competed in the second day of the OHSAA State Track and Field Meet Saturday at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium. South Gallia junior Judah Cremeens ran in the 110-meter hurdle finals after qualifying in the prelims yesterday, ending up taking state runner-up with a time of 14.60, missing out on first by less than half a second.

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WV News) - Two River Cities athletes were in action in a pair of preliminary rounds in the first day of the OHSAA State Track and Field Meet Friday at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium. South Gallia junior Judah Cremeens competed in the 110-meter hurdle prelims, qualifying for finals with a time of 15 seconds, the fourth best time of the day. Meigs sophomore Griffin Hudson competed in the 100-meter dash prelims, finishing 18th with a time of 11.05.
