Just after 9:45 p.m., Chicago police said the 8-year-old was inside a tan SUV with her family when they were involved in a fight with people inside a white SUV in the 3000 block of South State Street.

CHICAGO (WBBM) -- A woman stood charged Monday with driving a car through a crowd assembled for a protest against U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement in downtown Chicago earlier this month. Chicago police said Deirdre Kemp, 30, was arrested on Thursday, June 19. She was charged with one felony count each of aggravated reckless driving causing bodily harm and aggravated fleeing causing bodily injury, and one misdemeanor count of driving on a suspended license.

A Chicago protest is planned for Thursday afternoon by immigration advocates, who are calling for ICE tactical teams sent by the Trump Administration to stand down. Those ICE tactical teams were one of the catalysts for protests in Los Angeles that have lasted nearly a week now. City officials confirmed Trump had given these teams 48 hours notices to be ready to be deployed to Chicago, with mini-tanks and riot gear, to target undocumented immigrants.

By Darius JohnsonClick here for updates on this story CHICAGO, Illinois ( WBBM) - Chicago police are searching for the men who robbed four people back-to-back in Lakeview and Lincoln Park on Monday night. In all four incidents, which took place within 30 minutes, the victims were walking outside when they were confronted by strangers demanding items. In at least three cases, police said a gun was involved. The first robbery took place around 11:30 p.m. near Broadway and Roscoe Street.
