Southern Hills Mall has announced a new policy that will require guests under age 16 be accompanied by a parent or guardian during all operating hours. Parents and guardians must remain with the minors at all time and will be responsible for their behavior, under the new Youth Escort Policy, which begins Friday.

    SIOUX CITY — A blizzard delayed travel for some teams headed to the NAIA women's basketball national tournament in Sioux City, but tournament officials remained confident the first games would tip off as scheduled Thursday afternoon at the Tyson Events Center. Over 4.5 inches of snow fell in Sioux City as of mid-Wednesday morning, as winds gusted to up to 55 miles per hour. The conditions snarled traffic and prompted local officials to urge motorists to stay off the roads.

    VERMILLION, S.D. -- University of South Dakota's Grace Larkins was named the Summit League Player of the Year Tuesday. The honor came after a season in which the senior led the conference in points, rebounds, steals, and minutes, and averaged a double-double. Larkins is the fourth Coyote to win the award, and the first since Chloe Lamb in the 2021-22 season. "She has had a record-breaking season and a remarkable career,” South Dakota head coach Carried Eighmey said of Larkins.
