According to the South Dakota Department of Transportation, the construction is taking place between the city of Yankton and South Dakota Highway 46. The project includes resurfacing the asphalt shoulders and the four-lane divided roadway just north of Yankton. Phase one of concrete surfacing will start next Monday, April 28, resulting in two-way traffic to be placed in the northbound lanes.
