MANSFIELD, Ohio (WJW) – First responders continue to be at the scene of an explosion in Mansfield Wednesday. Reports of an explosion first came in around 6:40 a.m. Crews responded to the 900 block of Becky Drive. FOX 8 learned one occupant of the home, 72-year-old Dan Atwell, was seriously injured. He reportedly suffered burns on over 30% of his body and was taken to a hospital in Columbus. The other occupant, his 77-year-old wife Irene Atwell, was able to get out of the home uninjured.

A bus driver emergency training course helps them better understand what it is like trying to evacuate a bus filled with students as it is catching on fire and filling with smoke, or if the bus has rolled over following a crash.

CLEVELAND (WJW) — Organizers came together Friday afternoon at the Free Stamp in downtown Cleveland for last-minute preparations for a major protest set for Saturday. Cleveland is one of hundreds of cities where a “No Kings” rally is planned, protesting President Donald Trump and a military parade scheduled for Saturday in Washington, D.C.“As of this morning, we have over 2,000 sign-ups but we are expecting triple that amount tomorrow,” said organizer Ellen Frank.
