    REGINA – One of the two men accused in the death of Briana Hayes in Oxbow last year is still in custody following his most recent arrest. Tyler Neil Shaw of Gainsborough was supposed to have a show-cause hearing on April 17 in Regina Provincial Court to determine if he would receive bail. But the hearing was rescheduled to May 22 in Regina.

    REGINA – A former southeast Saskatchewan resident who is facing several charges from Regina is no longer in custody. Mason Wayne Strutt, age 23, was released with conditions after making an appearance by video April 17 in Regina Provincial Court. He is scheduled to be back in court in Regina on May 15. Strutt was apprehended and charged by members of the Regina Police Service on April 10 and had been in custody until his most recent appearance.

    ESTEVAN – One of the people who appeared on the Saskatchewan RCMP's most wanted list has been arrested and has had his first court appearance. The accused, who can no longer be identified due to a publication ban, was on the most-wanted list for March and April, was believed to have been in Oxbow. He was arrested in the Rural Municipality of Calder on April 13 by Esterhazy RCMP officers.

    REGINA – A former southeast Saskatchewan resident is in custody after he was arrested in Regina earlier this month. Mason Strutt was apprehended and charged by members of the Regina Police Service on April 10 and made his first court appearance the following day. He was held in custody and will be back in court on April 17, also in Regina, to appear by video.

    ESTEVAN – A member of the Estevan Police Service who is facing multiple charges, including assault, had his matters brought forward in Estevan Provincial Court on April 14. Const. Paul Golden's case was adjourned to May 5, also in Estevan. Background: The provincial Serious Incident Response Team (SIRT) announced in late 2024 it had laid charges against Golden, after the EPS had notified SIRT of an allegation of interpersonal violence involving the member. He was arrested by SIRT investigators.
