WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – A 13-year-old Wichita basketball player has died after he suffered a brain bleed. The family of Shama’ar Jefferson told KSN’s Derek Lytle that he died Tuesday night. KSN News has followed the teen’s battle since March, when he took a hit while playing a game at the Wichita Sports Forum. Jefferson was rushed to the hospital with a brain bleed and spent more than a month in the ICU.
