FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) — Sunday, those needing a hot meal are invited to head to the Rescue Mission as a way to give back on the Easter holiday. From 12 to 3 p.m. the Rescue Mission hosts it’s annual Easter Meal, allowing for anyone in the public to recieve up to three meals per person in dine-in, carry-out, and drive-thru formats.

Man in life-threatening condition after crashing into light pole, parked car

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) — A man is in life-threatening condition after crashing into a light pole and a parked car. According to a release from the Fort Wayne Police Department, officers responded to the area of 4900 Winter Street on reports of a vehicle crash at 1:30 p.m. Friday. When officers arrived on the scene, they found a vehicle had left the roadway, hit a pole and then struck a parked vehicle. The driver of the vehicle, a man, was unconscious, according to the release.
Driver loses control and rolls motorcycle in DeKalb County

DEKALB COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) — A motorcyclist was taken to an area hospital after losing control of his motorcycle and rolling multiple times before coming to a stop in a ditch. According to a release from the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Department, an officer was dispatched to the intersection of State Road 205 and State Road 3 on reports of a crash involving a motorcycle around 2:30 p.m. Friday. When officers arrived, they found a motorcycle and its driver in the ditch on the side of the roadway.
Indiana State Police collects ‘plenty of evidence’ in traffic stop bust

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) — Indiana State Police collected large amounts of marijuana and related products Friday morning in a traffic stop bust. According to a Facebook post from the Indiana State Police Fort Wayne Post, a Fort Wayne trooper collected a large amount of marijuana and THC-related products during the stop. Armed robbery leads to the arrest of three people

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) — Three people were arrested after holding someone at gunpoint and stealing cash before taking off in a vehicle Thursday afternoon. Lifetime Sports Academy opens registration for free summer programs

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) — Registration is open for free summer session swim, golf and tennis lessons taught by Lifetime Sports Academy with City of Fort Wayne Parks. Lifetime Sports Academy is offering free swim, golf and tennis group lessons for ages 7 to 17 this summer, with programs beginning June 2 and July 18. The goal of the lessons is to focus on skill development, training and participation. The lessons are taught by certified coaches and trained professionals.
