Family members remembered Teresa Adams-Pugh as a mother who was very family oriented. The Johnston County Sheriff's Office found Adams-Pugh and her husband, Christopher Pugh, dead in their home Saturday night on Chaney Drive in Garner. Theirs was a marriage that appeared fine from the outside, Adams-Pugh's cousin, Josette Battle Goings told WRAL News. "This seems like it came out of nowhere," she said after learning of the Pughs deaths.

'It was crazy': Man says car shifted into other lane during Wake tornado warningLarge trees fell Wednesday in several Raleigh neighborhoods during the time that a tornado warning was issued for the area. Before 1 p.m., a large tree blocked the entrance to the Timbers Apartments off Millbrook Road. A line of cars formed, and residents couldn't access the complex. WRAL News was there as a group of volunteers used handsaws and lifting power to remove the tree. The large tree was completely uprooted.

Graney, 23, was charged in connection to a multi-day string of shootings around I-40 and southwest Raleigh. The person charged with a series of shootings in Raleigh will likely face a mental health evaluation before any trial, Wake County District Attorney Lorrin Freeman said. Whether Andrew Graney was mentally ill is a question on the minds of prosecutors, the public and Graney's family and friends.

Before two men were taken into custody Thursday afternoon following a series of shootings into homes and cars in west Raleigh, WRAL News was pressing police for answers. The first incidents happened Monday, when a woman in a Jeep was shot in the leg along Interstate 40 near Cary Towne Boulevard. Another vehicle was struck on I-40 near Buck Jones Road, but no one was injured.
