Leaders with the National Association of Letter Carriers are asking people to fill the bags with food and leave them by their mailbox. On Saturday, May 10, postal workers will gather the bags and distribute them to local food banks.

(KSLA) - The Jim Yates Terminal at the Texarkana Regional Airport has been open for less than a year, but despite its age, the $49 million facility has begun to get national recognition. Airport Business Magazine has selected the terminal as the Airport Project of the Year. “Each year, you see the Denvers, the Dallases, they always get these kinds of projects. It’s not very often that a small airport gets recognized,” said Paul Mehrlich, director of the Texarkana Regional Airport.
