ROUNDERS OPEN DAY AT MARLFIELD HURLING CLUBA new innovation for Marlfield Hurling Club and the Clonmel area generally will be the starting up shortly of the sport of Rounders. Although one of the four games originally promoted by the GAA, it has always remained very much the Cinderella sport. However, there are presently signs of a great increase in interest in the sport throughout the country. An introductory Rounders Open Day will be held on The Lawn on Easter Monday, April 1.
