CHICAGO — Hundreds of sail boats are getting ready to race across Lake Michigan for the Chicago Yacht Club’s Race to Mackinac. Cruising Division starts Friday afternoon and Racing Division sets sail for Mackinac Island on Saturday. Among the participants this year is an all woman team of nine who are racing to Mackinac on the Moxie. They are on a mission to lift up the next generation of women sailors. Two-hundred-and-fifty boats are registered to compete in the 115th annual race.
