    Rigo's Mexican Restaurant abrió una nueva sucursal la semana pasada en Benson, a unas 45 millas de su buque insignia en South Fourth Avenue. El nuevo restaurante, el tercero de Rigo's, celebró su gran inauguración el 21 de junio en 660 N. Ocotillo Road, que sirve un menú clásico de comida mexicana que refleja bastante bien las otras dos ubicaciones de Rigo's en 2527 S. Fourth Ave. y 5851 N. Oracle Road.

    The couple behind a popular Puerto Rican food truck will soon have a brick-and-mortar spot on Tucson's north side. Husband-and-wife team Carlos and Jackeline Garcia are putting the finishing touches on their concept, Batey Puerto Rican Gastronomy, which they hope to open in the old ATL Wings spot at 4230 N. Oracle Road, by early September.

    The Bashful Bandit has far fewer bras hanging from its ceiling these days. None, actually. The neon signage and pool tables with faded green felt, where many a biker found themselves stuck behind the eight ball, are mere memories at this point, giving way to communal tables for family dining and a front counter for ordering chile relleno sausages, green chile pulled pork and a healthy selection of other meat-driven dishes.     With 45 full-length and short film programs, there is no shortage of things you can watch and enjoy at this year's Loft Film Fest. The event, running Oct. 11-19, covers a wide swath of programming. You can watch gun-slinging cowboys battling it out in the "town to tough to die" on one day, and a film based on West African mermaids the next. The on-screen offerings are plentiful. The guest roster, not so much.
