According to Ramel Young, who runs the Canarsie Flossy Basketball League, every time the sprinkler at Canarsie Park is turned on, the basketball court floods. Young says the issue has been happening since at least 2018, even though he has called 311 and written emails to the Parks Department and his local Congress people. In 2022, it looked like it paid off. He told News 12 that the New York City Council was able to get $1 million set aside to dig up the court and fix an old pipe.

There’s actually one one answer for the #Knicks - and it’s not unrealistic, and it actually makes a ton of sense… https://t.co/01xKI6ErQL

There better be a good plan to get someone better than Thibs. Front office trades for a massive piece who is the opposite of everything the HC does, they still make the conference finals for the first time in 25 years and then they fire him? #Knicks better have a plan

The thing is - they don’t really have a choice. No draft picks, no cap room. Giannis trade isn’t happening. Hope another year and healthy Mitch makes them gel better, trust Thibs to improve the D, maybe another/better bench piece…see what happens.

If I’m the Knicks, I’m running this group back. Scour the market for some depth, keep Robinson healthy and this is a team that should compete for a top seed next season. https://t.co/3cL21kvDZN
