    DULUTH, Minn. (Northern News Now) - A man has been charged almost a year after a high-speed crash killed a nun. Damien John Brown, 24, of Duluth, was charged with criminal vehicular homicide for negligently operating a vehicle and causing great bodily harm. According to the criminal complaint, in early May 2024, officers responded to a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Lake Avenue and Fourth Street.

    DULUTH, Minn. (Northern News Now) - A Duluth man has been sentenced for his involvement in a stabbing and assault in early 2023. On Wednesday, Dustin St. Clair, 29, was sentenced to more than eight years in prison for aiding and abetting first and second-degree assault. He previously pleaded guilty to the charge in February. According to court documents, the early hours of Jan. 6, 2023, Tristan and Dustin St. Clair entered the victims’ residence on West Arrowhead Road without consent.

    DULUTH, Minn. (Northern News Now) - The Duluth Police Department is investigating after a person was stabbed overnight. According to DPD, on Wednesday at around 4:45 a.m., a person with a stab wound showed up at Essentia’s emergency room. Police say they found a vehicle they believed was connected to the incident and pulled the driver over. No arrests have been made at this time. However, police say the people involved know each other and are not being cooperative.
