The Chisholm Police Department started investigating after “distressing” videos were shared widely on social media. Authorities say on April 15, officers executed a search warrant at a property on Wanless Avenue in Buhl. During that search, they located several dogs inside the building, and each one was individually checked, photographed, and documented.

    DULUTH, Minn. (Northern News Now) - Starting Tuesday, certain burning restrictions go into effect around the state of Minnesota. Several counties in the Northland will be under burn restrictions, including Aitkin, Carlton, Douglas, and Southern St. Louis. Cook, Lake, and Northern St. Louis counties will be added to the list beginning Monday, April 14. The Minnesota DNR will not issue permits for the open burning of brush or yard waste in these counties until restrictions are lifted.
