    RUSHMORE, Minn. — A Minnesota sheriff’s deputy is in critical condition after authorities say he was struck by a Sioux Falls woman’s vehicle on Interstate 90. Shortly before 4:30 p.m. Sunday, April 13, law enforcement with the Minnesota State Patrol and Nobles County Sheriff’s Office were investigating a crash near mile marker 34 of Interstate 90, near the Rushmore exit.

    SIOUX FALLS — A Sioux Falls man has pleaded guilty to attempted murder in connection to a 2024 shooting that left a bullet lodged in another man’s brain. At the Lincoln County Courthouse on Wednesday, April 9, Sioux Falls resident Victor Rios entered a guilty plea to one count of attempted first-degree murder and one alternative count of aggravated assault with a dangerous weapon.

    SIOUX FALLS — A Brandon woman has been identified as the victim who was killed in a Thursday morning crash on the northeast side of Sioux Falls. At approximately 9:30 a.m. Thursday, April 10, police in Sioux Falls were dispatched to an area of East Rice Street near Timberline Avenue, just west of Veterans Parkway, for a report of a two-vehicle crash.
