SIOUX FALLS — A Flandreau man was killed Monday morning after authorities say he crashed his vehicle into a road construction vehicle on the Interstate near Sioux Falls. Shortly after 9 a.m. Monday, June 2, law enforcement in Minnehaha County were called to mile marker 394 of Interstate 90, roughly two miles outside of Sioux Falls, for a report of a two-vehicle crash.

I proudly handed her my vertical South Dakota driver’s license, which clearly said in bold red font: “UNDER 21 UNTIL 10/01/2019.” She sold it to me anyway.
