Welcome to the 25th episode of The Reporter's Corner. Joining us this week is Michigan Tech coach Bill Muckalt, who was announced the Huskies' new coach on May 22. Muckalt's résumé speaks for itself. In college, he won two national championships at the University of Michigan, and after a brief six-year stint at the professional level, he began his coaching career in 2006. In 2016, Muckalt guided the Tri-City Storm to a Clark Cup championship as a rookie head coach in the USHL.

Data centers house powerful computer systems designed to store, process and analyze massive volumes of data. Nick Phillips is the executive vice president of external affairs for Applied Digital, which is headquartered in Texas. He spoke at a Rotary Club of Downtown Sioux Falls panel on AI infrastructure.

On Friday, May 30, Ramberg ran the table to capture a Greco-Roman national championship in the 97-kilogram weight class at the U23 World Team Trials in Geneva, Ohio.

After spending the last three seasons as head coach at Dakota Wesleyan, Downs brings a proven track record of transforming programs and developing championship-caliber teams. At DWU, he led one of the biggest turnarounds in recent Great Plains Athletic Conference history.

SIOUX FALLS — The coach who started the University of Sioux Falls’ women’s wrestling program three years ago is stepping down from his role. USF announced Thursday that coach Toby Bryant is resigning as the school’s women’s wrestling coach, which will be effective at the end of June. According to the university, Bryant plans to pursue a new opportunity outside of collegiate coaching.
