The car park is situated at the rear of The Lawns Hotel in Station Road and is also used by the wider community. It is owned by The Chestnut group, which wants to expand the car park by six spaces and install two charging points for electric vehicles.

Plans to build two bungalows at Highbury Farm in Banningham have been withdrawn. It comes after concerns were raised by the parish council and neighbouring homes that the farm is being slowly overdeveloped.
