The group is part of the International Baccalaureate program, which is geared toward preparing students to become critical thinkers. “I feel like they’ll take this experience and be able to reflect on it later in life,” said Ashley Taylor, the program sponsor.

LONGVIEW, Texas (KLTV) - The collection of Native American Artifacts held by the Gregg County Historical Museum has been moved. The Caddo Nation Tribal Historic Preservation Program allowed the museum to hold thousands of artifacts for years, but the Caddo Nation plans to rebury the artifacts in native grounds. Executive Director of the Gregg County Historical Museum Jennifer White says the Buddy Calvin Jones collection of Caddo artifacts never belonged to Jones or the museum.
