COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho — Idaho State Patrol has closed eastbound I-90 east of Coeur d’Alene due to a rollover crash. According to ISP, the crash occurred near the top of the Fourth of July pass, around milepost 29, approximately 14 miles east of Coeur d’Alene. The area of the crash is in a construction zone that is already reduced to one lane. Authorities are urging drivers to avoid the area. ISP did not give an estimated time when the roadway would reopen.

QUINCY, Wash. — Grant County Sheriff’s say the body of a 24-year-old woman from Quincy was found inside her vehicle at the bottom of an irrigation canal. According to Grant County Sheriff’s, investigators believe Erika Martinez Chavez was driving north on the west canal maintenance road near Road 7-Northwest and Road R-Northwest when she lost control of the vehicle and drove into the canal. Chavez was unable to get out of the car.
