    SPOKANE, Wash. — Spokane County Sheriff’s Department is asking for the public’s help in finding an at-risk juvenile. The department says 16-year-old Sierra Quattlebaum was last seen with a family member on May 12, 2025, at approximately 11:30 pm, in downtown Spokane, near W. 4th Avenue and S. Wall Street. Her mother reported Sierra missing on May 13, 2025, at approximately 7:30 pm. According to sheriff’s Quattlebaum needs potentially life-saving treatment.

    OKANOGAN COUNTY, Wash. — The Okanogan County Sheriff’s Office says three climbers died on Sunday during a climbing accident. Sheriff’s and Okanogan County Search and Rescue volunteers responded to the climbing accident near North Early Winters Spire off of State Route 20, approximately 16 miles west of Mazama, WA, on Sunday morning. According to sheriffs, four people were climbing when they fell while descending a steep gully.

    SPOKANE, Wash. — U.S. Senator Maria Cantwell (D-Wash.), a senior member of the Senate Finance Committee, announced that 12 airports across Washington state, including Spokane International Airport, will receive more than $66.7 million in federal grants for infrastructure improvements. Several local airports will see funds from the Airport Infrastructure Grant (AIG) program. Spokane International is scheduled to receive $6,537,017 while the Deer Park Airport is scheduled to receive $585,000.
