After an extended legislative process, pay transparency
requirements are coming for Massachusetts employers. On July 24,
2024, the Massachusetts House and Senate passed a bill requiring
employers with over 25 or more employees in the Commonwealth to
disclose salary range information on job postings, and to provide
pay range information to current employees in certain
circumstances.

benefit amounts. The 2024 poster and updated template notice forms
are now available on the Department of Family and Medical

Study shows released bass do survive. But according to what I’ve read, hooking mortality increased when fish were taken on live baits including crickets and minnows, and approximately 37 to 40 percent of all bass under 12 inches long that were caught on live bait swallowed the hook. Hook size apparently was another factor in the survival of released bass. When caught on size 8 hooks, their mortality was 19 percent, but it increased to 47 percent when larger size 4 hooks were used.

Largemouth bass are looking to fatten up before winter conditions arrive, which means they are often aggressive and easier to catch. Topwater lures and soft plastic jerkbaits fished in the a.m. are good bets and can be effective on and on throughout the day. Look for surface boils later in the day. Rory Aikens shared a topwater tip that might come in handy to know.

Yuma is fortunate in having outdoor ranges at the Adair Park shooting range facility 15 miles northeast of Yuma off Highway 95. Turn off about 1/2 mile past the Gila River bridge to the west. Shooting organizations maintain ranges for trap and skeet, big bore (1,000 yd range), small bore, pistol and archery, all open for use by the public.
