By Jeff Kiessel, MCP ContributorLUDINGTON — Ludington High School seniors Reese Willis and Kylee Johnson were named the 2024-2025 All Around Seniors during Thursday’s academic assembly. Willis and Johnson became the 87th recipients of the award that dates back to 1938. It is only the ninth time that the voting has ended in a tie. Ludington High School Principal Steve Forsberg said Ludington has been blessed with a great seniors this year.

While walking along the beach at Stearns Park Tom Lyon and his son, Joe, would come across a beach toy here and there, the toy was undoubtedly left behind accidentally or simply fell out of a wagon that was overloaded with items for the beach. Lyon began to think of ways that those beach toys (many still in good shape) could be reused by children or families coming to spend the day along the lake Michigan shoreline.
