SCOTTVILLE — That’s a wrap. The Mason County Central girls basketball team saw its season come to an end with a 66-42 loss to Shelby in the MHSAA Division 3, District 72 semifinals Wednesday night in Scottville. It was a long night for the Spartans. From MCC’s first possession, it looked like moving the ball was going to be an issue. Shelby was just so sticky on defense. “We’ve handled the ball pretty well in a lot of our games this year,” MCC coach Brian Beebe said.
