Thieves rammed a car through a showroom window and stole four high-end cars from a dealership in North Canton in the early morning hours on Friday. Jackson Township Police say that around 3 a.m., officers responded to Jeff’s Motorcars on the 5700 block of Dressler Road NW for a report of a business alarm. No one was found on the scene. The following vehicles were stolen:BMW 760BMW M2BMW X5Audi S4Police say one of the vehicles has been located, but they did not say which one.

AKRON, Ohio — The 25-year-old Akron woman who was shot in her home by masked invaders earlier this week said she grabbed a gun to try to protect herself. No arrests have been made. The suspects are either men, or male teens, who entered the back door of Jasmine Scaffidi's home on East Crosier Street. At least three had guns. Scaffidi came out of her bathroom and was confronted by the armed intruders. “It was very scary,” said Scaffidi.

The suspect in the death of Cleveland Clinic nurse Aliza Sherman is back in Northeast Ohio. Sherman’s former divorce attorney, Gregory Moore, was identified as a suspect in her death and arrested at a relative’s home near Austin, Texas, on May 2. Moore was indicted by a Cuyahoga County grand jury and was being held in Williamson County Jail in Texas. He waived a formal extradition hearing on May 14.

AKRON, Ohio — An Akron middle school was vandalized over the weekend and evacuated this morning when a bomb threat was discovered. Akron Public Schools Superintendent Mary Outley confirmed that the school district has declared a calamity day for Innes Community Learning Center, and police are investigating. Parents have been asked to pick up students at Garfield High School.
