INDIANAPOLIS - A child is in critical condition at a local hospital after police were called to a shooting outside a local CVS that they say was "likely accidental."Indianapolis Metro police crews were called just before 3 p.m. Thursday to a CVS near the 46th Street and Keystone Avenue intersection on the city's north side for a person shot. Upon arrival, IMPD said officers found a juvenile male suffering from a gunshot and lying just outside of a car.

WEST POINT, Ind. — NBA player and former Purdue basketball star Zach Edey has been charged with reckless driving after reportedly driving over 100 mph on an Indiana state road last month. Edey, who started at center last season as a rookie for the Memphis Grizzlies, was issued a citation on May 1 after an Indiana State Trooper reportedly saw him speeding through Tippecanoe County. He now faces misdemeanor speeding and reckless driving charges.

INDIANAPOLIS — A tornado watch has been issued for the majority of Indiana as dangerous storms sweep across the state. According to the Indianapolis office of the National Weather Service, the watch covers areas including Indianapolis, Terre Haute, Bloomington, Kokomo, Fort Wayne and South Bend. The watch also covers portions of Illinois and Michigan. The office said the watch is valid until 8 p.m. on Wednesday.
