BOONE COUNTY, Ind. - Criminal charges have been filed against two people accused of shooting and killing two dogs on a private property located near the Boone and Clinton County line. According to a news release, the Boone County Prosecutor's Office has filed charges against 49-year-old Paul Ed Bowman and 21-year-old Brayden Bowman. Both face preliminary charges of Killing a Domestic Animal (Level 6 Felony) and Obstruction of Justice (Level 6 Felony).

TIPPECANOE COUNTY, Ind. - The Tippecanoe County Coroner's Office is seeking the public's assistance in finding the next-of-kin for a recently deceased man. According to a news release, Tippecanoe County Coroner Carrie Costello is looking for the next-of-kin for Steven Rogers, who died on May 13. Costello described Rogers as a 5'8″ white man who weighed 220 pounds. He was 58 years old. Costello said she believed that Rogers has a daughter she is trying to connect with.

EDINBURGH, Ind. - An investigation is underway after an 18-year-old was shot in the head in Edinburgh over the weekend. Officers with the Edinburgh Police Department were called on Saturday around 2:30 a.m. to the 100 block of East Main Cross Street in response to a possible shooting in the area. EPD said officers arrived and found a victim, whom they identified as an 18-year-old male, suffering from a gunshot wound to the head.

WHITE COUNTY, Ind. - Legal action is being pursued against the Twin Lakes School Corporation in Monticello amid allegations that a middle school teacher sexually harassed a 15-year-old student. According to previous reports, 31-year-old Timothy Bulow was arrested on April 3 and preliminarily charged with three felony counts of Sexual Misconduct with a Minor. All of the charges are Level 4 Felonies.

INDIANAPOLIS - An Indiana man has been sentenced to four years in federal prison after pleading guilty to illegally selling thousands of firearms, with many of them ending up in Mexico. According to a news release shared by the United States Attorney's Office Southern District of Indiana, 52-year-old David Mull admitted that he was involved in the illegal reselling of more than 1,300 firearms. After his four-year sentence concludes, Mull will serve an additional two years of supervised release.

INDIANAPOLIS - Alex Palou came away with the NTT P1 Award for the Sonsio Grand Prix. According to an IndyCar news release, Palou won his second pole of the year and his second consecutive pole while racing in the No. 10 DHL Chip Ganassi Racing Honda. He took the final spot with his last lap of one minute, 9.3417 seconds. "We had a bit of an advantage there with a set of new soft tires," Palou said.
