    The Wofford baseball team was locked in a pitchers’ duel early at UNCG Baseball Stadium Sunday afternoon, but the UNCG Spartans broke through with four runs scattered over the fifth, sixth, and seventh innings to secure a 4-1 victory. The Terriers drop to 22-15 (2-7 SoCon) with the result as the Spartans improve to 17-18 (7-2 SoCon). Wofford used three total pitchers with Kenny Michaels (3-2) making the start but suffering a tough-luck loss. He tossed 5.0 innings, his longest outing as a starter.

Emma Sellers was perfect on the night going 3-for-3 to lead the Gamecocks. The top of Carolina’s lineup (Quincee Lilio, Karley Shelton, and Rodi) finished with six hits and four RBIs.The Razorbacks jumped out to an early lead with three runs in the first and another in the second.
