DEERFIELD, Ill. (WGN) — Tension sat in the air around Hailey Van Lith as she prepared for her first professional basketball practice Sunday. But once shots went up, she got into a groove and anxiety faded into what she’s always known how to do. CHICAGO (WGN) — Esquire’s Brian O’Keefe recently profiled Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams as a part of the fashion magazine’s “Mavericks of Sports” package, where they made him the cover athlete. CHICAGO (WGN) — Though recovering from a concussion against the Carolina Panthers last year was tough, Jaquan Brisker said he never lost his step. As offseason workouts begin Monday, he said this “is the best I ever felt” and is eager to face Ben Johnson’s offense while the Bears gear up for the 2025 NFL season. “I told my coaches not too long ago that mentally, physically, this is the best I ever felt, especially from last season,” Brisker said.

CHICAGO (WGN) — There’s an alternate universe where Jaquan Brisker never joined the Chicago Bears, but was still drafted by their new defensive coordinator, Dennis Allen. Brisker’s relationship with Allen goes all the way back to the 2022 NFL Combine, the fourth-year safety told WGN News’ Kaitlin Sharkey in an interview Sunday. Advertisement“Me and Dennis go way back to the [scouting] combine,” Brisker said.
