The puppies, a girl and three boys, were brought back from the brink thanks to a good Samaritan getting them to Lollypop.

(WHAM) — Ashley, a mother of two young children and a domestic violence survivor, bravely shared her story Thursday as Rochester and Monroe County leaders presented a proclamation for National Crime Victims' Rights Week, which runs from April 6-12. "It was really important to me, because throughout the whole process, I did not feel heard by anybody — by the system, by the court, by the abuser — it was just like I was lost throughout the whole process," Ashley said.

The school boards for the Marion and Williamson school districts voted unanimously Tuesday to approve a feasibility study for a potential reorganization.
