BOULDER, Colo. — Fifteen people and a dog are now identified as victims of the Sunday Pearl Street Mall terror attack, the Boulder County District Attorney's Office announced Wednesday. The victims range from 25 to 88 years old. Eight of them are women and seven are men, the FBI Denver office confirmed. On Thursday, the Boulder DA plans to officially file state charges against the suspect in Sunday's attack — Mohamed Sabry Soliman.

A semitruck carrying paper products and sterno fuel cans, crashed on northbound Interstate 25 just north of Mead Thursday morning, closing lanes in both directions. The wreck closed the interstate in both directions while crews cleaned up the debris from inside the trailer, according to Mountain View Fire Rescue. There were only minor injuries, Mountain View Fire Rescue said. It happened around 3:16 a.m. Thursday, Colorado State Patrol public information officer Trooper Sherri Mendez said.

The 2025 threat level for wildfires and mudslides Glenwood Canyon is reduced, the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) announced Wednesday. CDOT evaluated burn scar recovery and debris flow potential to update safety measures for the area. Normal conditions are projected in Glenwood Canyon for the upcoming summer. The 2020 Grizzly Creek Fire and the mudslides that followed in subsequent years prompted added protocols for drivers traveling on Interstate 70 through Glenwood Canyon.

WESTMINSTER, Colo. — Police are asking for help with an assault investigation near the Bowlero Bowling alley parking lot in the Westminster Promenade. The assault victim told the Westminster Police Department he was walking to the bus stop on the night of May 19 to meet his girlfriend, when he tripped over the trailer hitch attached to a Dodge Grand Caravan. The vehicle's owner was reportedly sleeping inside.

DENVER — Denver police are installing Naloxone vending machines outside three stations on Tuesday. The vending machines are similar in design to newspaper vending machines, the Denver Police Department explained. The new DPD initiative is in partnership with The Naloxone Project, which was started in Colorado by Dr. Don Stader in 2021.
