    DENVER — The funeral for prominent civil rights leader Reverend Dr. James D. Peters, who died on Saturday, is scheduled for this coming weekend. Rev. Peters was the pastor emeritus of New Hope Baptist Church in Denver and took part in the March on Washington with Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. He was 92 years old. There's a viewing for Peters Friday night at 6 p.m. at New Hope Baptist Church, followed by a funeral service Saturday at 11 a.m.

Come off I-70, exit Colfax to I-25, Luber recommended as an alternate route.

    GREELEY, Colo. — Two minivans equipped with special technology will begin monitoring and recording speeding in real time around the city of Greeley, the police department announced Thursday. The mobile units will take pictures of the license plate on a vehicle whose driver is suspected of violating the speed limit. Greeley police will then review the potential violation before issuing a citation to the registered owner of the vehicle.
