It’s Ohio’s largest county fair, and third largest in the U.S. starting Aug. 27 through Sept. 1 featuring activities like the demolition derby and championship truck and tractor pull. Josh Danso is bringing 22 years of experience as a dog groomer to his new business: On Point Mobile Pet Grooming. In Ohio, it’s estimated that one in four students struggle to afford period products, which results in missed school days and activities. To help keep students in the classroom, the greater Youngstown and Warren community donated a total of 5,894 menstrual products. It’s part of The Raymond John Wean Foundation’s Period Products Drive. The community donated enough products to cover an estimated 265 cycles for menstruating individuals in the area. Donated products were distributed to Warren G.

Since 2015, staff at TLM Residential Services have provided support and care to adults with disabilities in northeast Ohio. Owner Toni Mitchell has spent over 40 years working with individuals with disabilities. Mitchell and staff are expanding services in 2025 by offering a new adult day program and vocational habilitation at their facility located at 4199 Kirk Road in Austintown. “I have worked with this very special population for 44 years and I absolutely love what I do,” Mitchell said.
