KANSAS CITY, Mo. — If you don’t have your REAL ID yet, you have one week left to do so. As of last week, more than half of Missourians still don’t have one. That deadline to get your REAL ID is May 7, and if you live in Kansas or Missouri, you will need to get it to avoid any issues. Without it, you won’t be able to fly domestically or enter certain federal buildings. The REAL ID is part of the Real ID Act, which was passed by Congress in 2005 after recommendations from the 9/11 Commission.
