KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Kansas City Police Department is paying tribute to officers killed in the line of duty. It held a memorial service on Thursday at police headquarters. There were 120 flags on display, one for each officer killed in the line of duty. For 120 hours before the service, dispatchers read one officer’s name per hour over the police radio system. All names were read again during the ceremony.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The first ever TKO Takeover weekend comes to an end Monday night with the WWE taking over T-Mobile Center. Before the match begins, the WWE is taking over Children’s Mercy. The hospital shared video with FOX4 as WWE superstars visited pediatric patients on Monday morning. KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City Royals’ rightfielder Hunter Renfroe is stepping up to the plate for a good cause this season by bringing back his signature sandwich. Renfroe, along with Zarda Bar-B-Q and Hy-Vee partnered for the return of “Hunter’s Royale with Cheese” in 2025. The sandwich was also sold during the 2024 season. The purpose of the signature sandwich is to raise funds for Big Brothers Big Sisters in Kansas City. Last year, Zarda sold over 5,000 of them, which raised $17,500 for BBBSKC.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City police and federal agencies are investigating after two Tesla Cybertrucks were damaged in a fire late Monday night at the Tesla service center in south Kansas City. Police suspect the fire was intentionally set. According to a statement from police, the fire was reported around 11:15 p.m. Monday at the Tesla Service Center at 10111 State Line Road. KCPD said one of its police officers was in the area when he saw smoke coming from a Cybertruck in the parking lot.
