Indus Hospitality Group has christened the Microtel Inn & Suites in the Wayne County village of Newark, the latest addition to the developer’s hotel portfolio. Located at 434 East Union St., the four-story Microtel has 72 pet-friendly guest rooms, including single, double and suites. There also is a fitness center, guest laundry and outdoor fire pit. The Microtel is the only hotel operating in Newark.

Seager Marine, the Canandaigua-based provider of recreational and waterfront marina services, has acquired East Bluff Harbor Marina in Penn Yan. East Bluff Harbor has been in operation for five decades and features boat rentals, certified maintenance, accessories and indoor and outdoor storage. “We’re thrilled to welcome East Bluff Harbor Marina to our family of waterfront properties,” John Holland, co-0wner of Seager Marine, said in a news release.
