Brindle might be six-years-old but she already sees the value in helping other kids. That's why she wants to fill up the toy room at a local hospital, but she can’t do it alone. Hundreds of toys are already piling up in a Sapulpa home, but none of them are for Brindle.

Tulsa's interim superintendent said the district is serious about helping students succeed and their hard work is already paying off. A herd of goats is credited with helping police catch a man officers said tried to pry open a shed, then run off and try to hide from officers. The suspect went through several obstacles before officers arrested him, including a man who held him at gunpoint and the goats who took police straight to him. Jeremiah Lofton lives near the property where this all went down Friday night. He said he constantly hears his neighbor’s goats and other animals making noise. “They’re mean,” said Jeremiah.

The community of Verdigris is heartbroken after police said three children were murdered by their own mother before she took her own life. We're hearing from those who knew the victims and from advocates who said these kinds of tragedies are happening too often. The Verdigris Police Chief said the mother, Brandy McCaslin, held a woman hostage in her garage. Then hours later, officers said they found Brandy and three of her children dead inside the home.
