Thieves stole one of our producer's cars over Labor Day weekend while she was out of town, even though her car had been locked. Investigators tell News On 6 that this is a trend they've been trying to stop. Police say Kias and Hyundais have been easy targets because of issues with the cars' anti-theft systems.

Share The Tulsa County District Attorney will not drop the charges against Chiefs Superfan Xaviar Babudar. A federal judge in Missouri sentenced Babudar to 17 and a half years in federal prison this week. Babudar pleaded guilty in federal court in Missouri to robbing bank employees across the country, including one in Bixby, in order to fund a lavish lifestyle of going to Kansas City Chiefs games all over the country. Bixby is where Babudar first got caught.

The U.S. Supreme Court has issued a major ruling connected to the Jan. 6th storming of the U.S. Capitol. About a fourth of the people charged that day, were charged with obstructing an official proceeding, but the ruling limits the use of that charge. That decision could affect hundreds of people charged with crimes from that day, including former president Donald Trump.

The state of Oklahoma executed Richard Rojem Jr. on Thursday, the official time of death was 10:16. Rojem was sentenced to death for kidnapping, raping, and murdering his seven-year-old, former stepdaughter Layla Dawn Cummings in 1984 and leaving her body in a field. His execution comes almost 40 years to the day that Cummings was murdered. “Justice for Layla Cummings was finally served this morning with the execution of the monster responsible for her rape and murder.
