SUN PRAIRIE, Wis. (WMTV) - The Sun Prairie Public Library reminded their readers that it’s ‘better late than never’ to return those overdue library books. They were finally able to close the chapter of their latest mystery - a 20-year-old overdue library book was finally found. According to the library’s Facebook post, the missing book was found in the book drop - accompanied with a sticky note saying ‘Sorry to return 20 years late (!!) - found in my parents basement :).

MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - Wisconsin Badgers wide receiver Skyler Bell and team captain Chimere Dike announced Monday they will both be entering the transfer portal. This marks the second and third wide receiver from the team to enter the portal, with Markus Allen announcing back in June his intentions to enter the transfer portal. Dike will be entering the portal with on year of eligibility left, while Bell stands with two years left of his eligibility.

MOUNT IDA TOWNSHIP, Wis. (WMTV) - An eighteen-year-old from Fennimore died in a roll over crash near the Mount Ida Township late Friday night, the Grant County Sheriff’s Office reported. According to the Sheriff’s Office, Kasey Walker was headed westbound on Green River Road when his truck began to swerve on a gravel road. He ultimately lost control and entered the shoulder, where the truck then struck a fence, traveled over a concrete culvert, and then rolled.

MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - Record heads - this one’s for you. A local record store in Madison celebrated Black Friday with dozens of customers lining up around the block to get limited editions of their favorite artist’s records. According to Strictly Disc’s owner, Rick Stoner, customers began lining up last night - with the first two already set and ready by 11:30 p.m.“A lot of people were also showing up as early as one or two o’ clock in the morning,” Stoner said.
