LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — An East Earl Township woman was charged on Thursday in connection with a deadly car crash that occurred in 2023. Police were initially dispatched along with fire and EMS to a head-on collision on West 28th Highway in Penn Township. Beth Anne Fife, 54, was charged with two counts of vehicular homicide, involuntary manslaughter and reckless driving. Investigators found that Fife was driving 93 mph in a 55 mph zone moments before colliding head-on into another vehicle.

The Supreme Court reversed a ruling from a lower court Tuesday that previously allowed Pennsylvanians under 21 to carry firearms in public. An appeals court ruled in January that a state law banning 18 to 20-year-olds from carrying firearms outside the house during states of emergencies was unconstitutional under the Second Amendment. In a two-sentence order, the nation's highest court vacated that ruling and sent the case back to lower courts to determine if U.S. v.
