SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) — Yesterday's storm has moved off to the east, and Utah is starting to dry out. But the rain and snow are not done with us yet! Several more storms will move through the region over the coming week, keeping the weather active. Here's how the timeline of these storms is looking right now. STORM #1A weaker storm is currently along the West Coast. This storm will move into the Great Basin late today through Saturday.

A storm will move through Utah Thursday & Friday, bringing a taste of winter back to the beehive state! Here's the timing and what you can expect as it moves through the region. TODAYClouds will increase and winds will pick up during the afternoon and evening in advance of the incoming storm. Winds will come from the southwest about 15-25 mph with some higher gusts. The strongest gusts of 40-50 mph are expected over the West Desert, and a Wind Advisory has been issued there as a result.

SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) — A Winter Weather Advisory and Road Weather Alert have been issued ahead of a snow storm expected to bring 1 to 3 inches to the valley floors. Benches should expect 3 to 6 inches of snow. The 2News Weather Team has issued a First Alert Weather Day for the Wasatch Front and mountains in northern Utah. The next winter storm will move into northern and central Utah late Wednesday and linger into Thursday afternoon.
