There are two big weather stories that the 2News meteorologists will be monitoring during that timeframe. Showers & ThunderstormsThe focus of showers and thunderstorms will shift into central and southern Utah Tuesday afternoon and evening. Northern Utah may still see an isolated shower Tuesday morning but will be completely dry by afternoon.

A storm will move through Utah Thursday & Friday, bringing a taste of winter back to the beehive state! Here's the timing and what you can expect as it moves through the region. TODAYClouds will increase and winds will pick up during the afternoon and evening in advance of the incoming storm. Winds will come from the southwest about 15-25 mph with some higher gusts. The strongest gusts of 40-50 mph are expected over the West Desert, and a Wind Advisory has been issued there as a result.
