    SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) — A Winter Weather Advisory and Road Weather Alert have been issued ahead of a snow storm expected to bring 1 to 3 inches to the valley floors. Benches should expect 3 to 6 inches of snow. The 2News Weather Team has issued a First Alert Weather Day for the Wasatch Front and mountains in northern Utah. The next winter storm will move into northern and central Utah late Wednesday and linger into Thursday afternoon.

    SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) — Happy Labor Day! The Wasatch Front picked up a quarter to an inch of rain Monday morning. Snow showers are coming down above 10,000 feet elevation in the Uintas and at Snowbird and Alta. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue through Monday morning. 2News' meteorologist Chase Thomason doesn't expect much flooding this Labor Day, but he said pockets of heavy rain are still possible.

    Utah is actively preparing for the potential of flash floods and heavy rainfall as monsoon moisture settles in. 2News Weather Team is closely monitoring weather conditions to ensure the safety of residents and travelers. FridaySALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) — Monsoon moisture will spread into Utah, especially over the western half of the state. Strong southerly winds could gust up to 50 mph over western and northern Utah. Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected along the I-15 corridor.
