The council unanimously voted Monday night to furlough three city employees to help save the town from financial issues. The council decided the court clerk, one employee from the street department and one from the park department will be furloughed in an effort to reconcile the town’s debt. Though no specific employees were named, one man believes he will be the one cut from the street department.
