Irondale Fire and Rescue recommends people drink a gallon of water a day, which is 128 fluid ounces. “Typically, once you start feeling the signs of heat exhaustion, it’s too late,” Irondale Fire Cpt. David Brasher said. “It’s already set in.”Irondale Fire and Rescue said heat exhaustion will hit before a heat stroke.

    BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — The missiles Iran launched at the U.S. base in Qatar on Monday were more symbolic than retaliatory, according to retired U.S. Air Force Col. Scott Grant. “It symbolizes to their people that they are standing up to the big American giant, they’re standing up to Israel, but they’re also signaling to us that they don’t want this to get out of hand,” Grant said. Grant was stationed at Al Udeid U.S. Air Force base in Qatar in 2003.
