On March 28, Our Dakota Dreams Career Explorations Camps lost millions of dollars from the Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief Fund (ESSER) under the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), according to the DOE.

    SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) – After reported frustrations with South Dakota’s congressional delegation, one former USDA appointee will hold town halls across the state. Nikki Gronli, the former USDA Rural Development State Director under the Biden Administration, will host public town halls in four different South Dakota cities in April, in lieu of the “absence of South Dakota’s Republican Senators and Congressman,” according to a news release.

Jon Hansen defends an amended state petition law, which he led during the legislature, despite a new lawsuit against it. “Disputes over the validity of petition signatures should be decided before the election takes place—not after,” Hansen said in a statement to KELOLAND News.
