(KWQC) - Charges were dismissed against a man in connection with an East Moline shooting death after authorities uncovered new evidence, Rock Island County State’s Attorney Dora A. Villarreal says. Villarreal filed the motion on Thursday to dismiss the first-degree murder charge against Jarquez D. Robertson, 22, of Huntsville, Alabama, because detectives said he had acted in self-defense.

Fans will also say goodbye to one of the program’s most impactful senior classes. The celebration for the team begins at 6 p.m. in Iowa City at Carver Hawkeye Arena. The team made two straight trips to the national title game, three straight BIG Ten tournament titles, and sold-out arenas nationwide.

Race Director Michelle Juehring and Race Director Emeritus Ed Froehlich, representing the 50th Planning Committee, will announce new and exciting updates for the 2024 race. Clark has hit high marks this season claiming the women’s all-time scoring record, as well as the scoring record in both men’s and women’s NCAA college basketball history. Clark beat Pete Maravich’s scoring record before halftime in a game against Ohio State. Clark has also declared for the 2024 WNBA draft.

A marketing team member from PepsiCo based in Wisconsin reached out to KWQC and said, initial reports about a European supermarket chain could be misleading to consumers to have concerns that their choose products are not going to be available in local stores.
