Human remains discovered by a hiker in Thousand Oaks earlier this week were the result of an apparent murder-suicide, according to the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office. Around 7 p.m. May 4, a hiker discovered bones near the intersection of Sunrise and Autumn Ridge trails in the Lang Ranch Open Space in Thousand Oaks, according to VCSO.
