Uber is now available across British Columbia. The ride-hailing giant — which launched in Vancouver in 2020, followed by Victoria, Chilliwack and Kelowna in 2023 — is officially operating B.C.-wide starting Wednesday. The district is asking its residents to approve borrowing up to $150 million to build a new operations centre through an AAP, or Alternative Approval Process.
