On Wednesday, investigators could be seen combing through a unit at a supportive housing complex on Gorge Road East, operated by Pacifica Housing. The unit was the scene of a fire Saturday morning where fire crews discovered a man’s body inside. It’s since been deemed a suspected homicide. On Tuesday, Victoria’s Public Safety Unit and other officers did a thorough search of the area, including Cecelia Ravine Park. Neighbour Matthew Jackson lives across the street.
